This is a Boulder Folder, which was sent out to press and radio stations to promote the Boulders album.
When Boulders wes re released a few years later, record shops had these cardboard cut outs on the counter. I managed to get one, but unfortunately I cut it up so it would stick in one of my scrapbooks........ :-(
I remember buying one of these when I was on holiday,Unlike this one, mine didn't stay in the wrapper for long though
What a treat for anyone on holiday in Plymouth in 1973. Just 80 pence to see The Electric Light Orchestra, and a week later - £1.00 to see Wizzard !
Wizzard are also 20 pence in the lead here as well, though it was nearly 4 months after the ELO gig
More Wizzard gig tickets
The first Wizzard tour programme from 1973
This one is from 1974
Roy and Rick performing "Forever" This is one of the pictures from the above tour programme
In America,United Artists promoted Roy and Wizzard with these cards. On the back is a tab that you hang in a glass of water, it says that after 7 days the hair will start to grow.
So far I have resisted the temptation to see if it works.
